The Cathedral of San Luis Potosi (La Catedral Metropolitana de San Luis Rey) is a beautiful building, I hope my model captured some of the fine detail and incredible work that went into the building.
From Wikipedia: "The building we currently know was built in 1670 and was completed in 1730." In 1854 it was consecrated as the cathedral.
Just like most of my models, it was designed with 3D printing in mind. However, I did add some delicate details towards the top of the model, so take care with the model after you've printed it. Also, it's sorta hollow (for lighting) like most of my models.

Notes:
I did a 20 hour print for this model (the somewhat translucent model in the pictures above, not the white model in the video), and had no significant issues. It had some stringing, and of course the model is quite delicate at some points, but otherwise is fine.
My settings are estimated, it's been quite a while since I printed it.
I based the model on pictures and images from Google Earth. However, the result is not quite to scale like it should be. I plan on remaking the model as some point and make it closer to the actual shape, my model looks wider than it should be.
I used 3DS max for the project.
