Work in progress - I am still printing this myself. I'd appreciate any feed back or suggestions for model updates.

Still to come a BOM and detailed PDF instructions for printing settings and assembly
Lots of add ons and accessories to come.

Note that this is a toy, prop, model. it does not have any mechanism to load, chamber or fire any kind of projectile the barrel is solid. I strongly suggest printing or painting the Muzzle brake or barrel in blaze orange to identify it as being a toy

This is a model of the M4 Carbine. I have tried to keep the level of realism and detail as high as possible while also making the model as 3D print friendly as possible.

A printer with a build volume of x250 Y210 z210 is capable of printing all the parts. the larger parts could be further cut up for printing on smaller printers if there is a demand I will do this.

The model is assembled with super glue and pins cut from 1.75mm filament (pins are probably enough to hold it together. some M4 Socket head screws are required and some assorted springs.

Many of the parts are spring loaded and function for added detail and realism.

I also plan to design and release many of the available accessories such as the M9 (bayonet), M203 (grenade launcher), suppressor, ACOG sights and more. however many of these real-life components are comparable eg. you could buy a cheap ACOG and it would be able to fit to the prop M4.

If you like this or any of my other designs and remixes think about tipping me a dollar $1 this will help keep me motivated and continue providing my work for free

All the parts are already orientate for there best printing position. Many parts require supports I have tried to design the parts so most do not.

the small parts and threaded parts will benefit from being printed at the finest resolution your printer is capable of.

Post-Printing

After printing clean off any supports, and if you desire sand and polish the parts so they look their best.

How I Designed This

this model was designed in Fusion 360 using measurements and drawings from the internet and models from grabCad.com.
