My friend and I have been working on this for a little while now and it's ready for you guys to try. Many thanks to the co-developer and test pilot! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IG7zonkU-Ps
1: Print 4 corners and a center section in your choice of colors and materials. PLA may soften if you have hot motors. ABS works well. I'm sure PETG and Nylon would be fine choices as well.
2: Cut 1/16 carbon rods to appropriate lengths. 110mm requires 4x 3.83" for the box, 4x 2.355 for the X. (I'll update with more sizes. Let me know what you'd like.)
3: After dry-fitting the pieces, you can glue them together. It will be easier to remove and replace a broken piece if you use a flexible glue.
I have ABS short kits available in various colors with and without pre-cut .060" carbon rod. I'll mix and match colors to your heart's content with whatever I have available.
I hope they work well for you. Let me know how it goes!
