To my folks (if they exist as such) this will be my last significant thing published here for a while, I will spend my free time migrating most of my things to Cults, because of well know usability and stability issues of this site. After that, I will still publish things first here, but I'm going to be out in the meantime.
I get on the train of the moment making the vessel where it takes place the first map of the videogame Among Us, created by Innersloth studio. I order to design it I used any official artwork I could find of the ship, the logo of the map, and of course, in-game screenshots. It's based on my interpretation of the images, and their relations. Many things were changed or adapted to be more realistic, like make the contour and some rooms more symmetrical. The Reactor room is highly distorted because of the presence of the thruster. Structures and drops within the habitat are highly simplified; and some features that do not represent a significant change in the relief are not present. I though of making a tunnel system between the vents, like in-game vents, but this would not be visible when printed, so it doesn't worth the effort.
About the interpretation of the images, there are many users that reject the idea that the spaceship seen in the telescope of the map Polus is a side view of the Skeld. The reason is that the logo and the map are more "turtle" shaped, while the spaceship is more "whale" shaped. However, I'm in favour to same-ship-different-views theory, and here I present several common features between them to support this argument:

Green arrows point features that fit almost perfectly between the views; yellow arrows point things that seems to be shared but displaced, or things that can be interpreted as the same one; red arrows indicate parts that contradicts to other views, or which are missing.
(1) Cafeteria windows are in the same place, the same size and quantity.
(2) Navigation lateral windows are present one way or another, albeit it's not well defined.
(3) Thrusters are back of the ship, and are aligned with the habitat level
(4) Lower wings are about the same place and shape.
(5) The tiny chin like structure seems to be present in both, and fits in shape.
(6) Navigation front window is present, but the shape of the nose is different.
(7) Two antennas are present in b. near Communications.
(8) Weapons windows may be present, but not well defined.
(9) The lateral plaques in c. can be interpreted as the lateral wings.
(10) Grooves are present in both view, but loosely correlated.
The weapon (11) in front of Weapons, the blue decorative stripes (12), the rockets' aileron (13) and the lower-back fin (14) are present in one of the views, but missing in the others.

The size of The Skeld

We can easily extrapolate the size of the vessel, knowing the size of the Crewmates, which I like to call (and I will) Amongusers (intentionally mispronounced "Amongoosers"). When you scan yourself in the MedBay scanner, a 3' 6" (3 feet six inches, about a metre) height is shown. However, it's never explicit if that "feet" measure is Imperial System feet (based on an human foot length) or a measure on Amonguser's feet, which is actually accurate. If the later is the case, it's nearly impossible to approximate the real size, since there is no reference value; so for the sake of reaching a concrete value, lets asume that the MedBay's scan result is in (human) Imperial units. The final size of The Skeld is about 77m long, 42.65m wide and 65.9m tall (total).

Assembly

I included for every scale a "complete" model to use as reference, that is not intended to be printed directly. The printable models are divided by "layers" or levels:

Each level is divided, depending on the level, is several pieces. The order they are labelled is: starting in the front, clockwise seeing from above, and outside to inward in case it's necessary.

Scales

I present this model in five scales. Some of them have so many parts that I had to package them in compressed files:

  • 1:500. The smaller scale, 15cm, the "middle" part is fused with "bottom" one. The levels are not divided. Wings may not fit within their holes, you would need to sand the joint a bit.

  • 1:350. 22cm long. The same conditions as the previous one.

  • 1:160. 48cm long. Each layer is divided in six parts no bigger than 16cm. For this and the following scales, the "middle" section was hollowed to reduce the material needed

  • 1:80. 96cm long. Each level is divide in eight parts no larger than 27cm, you need to have a bigger printer, or you could split them by yourself using Microsoft 3D Builder, Tinkercad, or similar to those. As it's a very big model, I know many people would want to make just the habitat part, so I package only those parts in a separate 7z file.

  • 1:40. 1.8m, it's a really big model, divided in 18 parts per level, and needs to be printed with 35cm bed printer. Since bigger printers are becoming more popular, I decided to include this scale. Also, the Amongusers can be made in this scale, and use it as a sort of a doll house, you just need to scale them. For example, these models, designed by WalRit, size 6cm tall. To make them scaled 1:40, we need to make them 106,7cm / 40, that is 2,66cm; so you need to scale the figurines 44.45% or 0.4445. I include in this post those models already scaled and their different parts fused in one piece.
