Removing supports

If in Repetier host, in tab slicer,
and pressing the "configuration" bttn when Cura slicer is selected, you get
the cura settings. upper tab print/filament
under print tab you go to the "structures" tab and under "support"
set the xy distance to 0.6 and Zdistance to
0.15 if 0.15 is your layer height,
0.2 if 0.2 is your layer height.
Then, removing supports should be a breeze.

How I Designed This

The Origin

The Destiny is a brainchild of Brad Wright and Robert C Cooper who wrote Stagate Universe.  It is a faster then light interstellar spaceship with a stargate onboard, and various economic and military capabilities.
This Destiny is drawn by one of our fellow 3D Warehouse members on Sketchup. Due to a sudden rise of models, and artists, we cannot exactly remember from whoem. Though to give credit then, But we only adapted it for 3D Printing, wich means exporting, and making manifold, wich was quite a task on such a big model. it needs to be scaled to 0.0035(+/-) of the original scale to fit on a 20x20 bed.

Custom Section

the Tip of the ship

the Tip of the ship gets too hot and can melt away. you can sove this by adding cooling or making the printhead move more for ex; Print two destiny's from the same height. tip one gets a lot more time to dissapate heat due to the head having to print the exact same thing a bit further.
