This is my version of Mac the Janitor Robot from the 1960's cartoon show, The Jetsons. This Robot was built out of spare parts by Henry, the building superintendent, and became the romantic interest of Rosie the Robot Maid that worked for the Jetsons.

I have downloaded and made several robot things from Thingiverse, so this is my humble attempt at giving something back.

As built, the arms have some limited motion, and the head can rotate. You might want to glue them permanently in some pleasing pose.

I printed him in white PLA, with a very lightweight 5% infill. I did not want the figure to be heavy, because he sits on ridiculously small "wheels" on office chair "legs".

Things you'll need to Finish Mac

You will need to glue Mac's parts together. Since I printed him in PLA, I used SCI-GRIP 16 cement for plastics. It is awesome, and creates very strong bonds. I used Spray paint for the majority of the coverage, requiring Light and Dark Cyan, Silver and Black. After hand painting accents such as eyes and wheels, a coat of clear Matte spray finish was applied.
