H.G. Well's Classic Story War of the Worlds. The Cylinders Designs are based on Henrique Alvim Corrêa's Drawings in 1906. There are two types, a small cylinder for non-close up shots for stop motion or video, then there is a half of a cylinder that has a rotatable lid, The half Cylinder for close up is meant to be covered in dirt or ground, as if it hit into earth and need to have another cylinder around it to make it longer, as it s only the top part to save you filament.
