You will find here all the 3D models needed to make a costume of Leia on Lothal from Star Wars Rebels 12th episode of the second season: "A princess on Lothal". The only missing part is the Comlink as two great models are already proposed on thingiverse by others (links below).

You will find the following elements:

  • Chestbox. There is no fixation modelled so you are free to choose how to attach it: glue on the fabric, magnets, etc. I personally recommend printing one or two more chest clips to glue at the top so you can clip the chestbox to the collar, and glue a magnet on the bottom to hold it with another magnet on the other side of the fabric.

  • Chest clips to print twice and to wear on the collar on both sides of the chestbox.

  • Back clips (one right and on left as they are not symmetric to themselves), to also wear on the collar... in the back.

  • A Belt box in two versions functional and non-functional. In the episode, it can be hardly seen and we can only guess the square recessed in it. The non-functional correspond to that. The functional box is in 3 parts (box, cover and belt clip), and is a slightly modified design acceptable given the lack of good pictures. Use some metallic wire or two sewing pins to attach the cover to the box thanks to the dedicated small holes. The size is designed to take standard size business cards.

  • A haircomb/hairclip, in 3 versions. The "basic" one allows you to glue attachement system you want such as a clasp. The "clip" contains something to slide in hairs (not test). The "comb" is a traditional hair comb, it should be strong enough, at least with ABS.

    • A belt buckle composed of 3 elements. Left/Right and the cover. The left part is to be glue to the cover (alignment pin/registration marks included). The right part can then slide in the left from the bottom. The left and right part are designed to use a 40mm wide belt/strap. Tests print in ABS (100% infill) have been able to withstand several kilograms of pulling force without breaking. You can make the belt/strap adjustable just like for a backpack by passing the strap in the side hole, around the dedicated loop and back again in the side hole and sew the extremity of the strap folded on itself so it can go off. I will try to add an example in the "makes".

Sizes might need to be slightly adjusted to the wearer as this is based on cartoon character. Current size is for an average person.

All parts are to be painted in a silver, if possible with blue hue. The round buttons on the chestbox should be done with a darker metallic (ex: gun metal), while recessed grooves/borders on all pieces (when present) should be dark grey to black.

Regarding print settings, all models should already be in optimised orientation to minimise support and/or get best results. I print with brims, not raft. I recommend printing the chest/back clips, the belt buckles parts and the hair comp at 100% infill, 20% for the other files. Tolerances are already included in the models.
