No

Filament: eSun PLA

Notes:

This was designed in mind to use as little supports as possible, print the head and horns twice mirrored, this is the best orientation for keeping detail for the fins/beak/spikes.

Some parts of the object are very thin, especially the edges of the horns, I recommend printing with a 0.2mm nozzle if possible, if using 0.4mm, take note of how your slicer might loose some detail, if unhappy just upscale to %200 and be 2x more happy :D

The fins are very thin (lol), I'd recommend if your slicer supports it to print the first few layers at a smaller layer height, such as 0.08mm.

There are 2 approaches for printing the main body:

Method 1: (recommend) print Mercury_no_fin.stl with supports under the horns as shown in the screenshot, the top fin is later printed separately and glued on.

Method 2: print Mercury.stl if your printer is good at overhangs, or if you wish to use supports and think you can remove them between the fin and horns without snapping them off, they are very fragile.

Supports for the Horns are included, use pliers and sandpaper to remove when inserting into the socket.

Glue each piece together with superglue, apply primer and sand until you lose your fingerprints.
If you won't be priming and want to get rid of the seam down the middle: either gently stroke the seam with a soldering iron, OR: use baking/baby powder in combination with superglue, and lots of sanding.

This is my first time sharing a model so I apologize if you run into some poor design issues xD
