The Polish had two TKS-D's and they had different bodies.  Most pictures show the 1st prototype and this is also what JARLANG has published.  This model is the 2nd prototype with several changes to the hull as detailed in the design section below.  The most notable difference between the two prototypes was the higher hull sides of the 2nd TKS-D.

The track set includes a plate to help you align the tracks with the top of the fender.  This plate also provides more durability to the small details in the suspension.

Note that just as in JARLANG's original model, the reach track guards are delicate so these may snap off when handled or when the model is removed form the supports.

This model is in 1/56 scale

I intend to improve the details on the back of the vehicle and improve he durability of the rear track guards..

Notes:

The large pad under the tip of the barrel is an original part of JARLANG's design and it serves to give the supports a platform to which it can attach.  The pad separates more easily from the barrel than the supports would.

How I Designed This

Modifications of parts from two other creators

I took JARLANG's TKS-D hull model of the 1st prototype and modified it to look like the 2nd prototype.  Changes include the following:
1 - increasing the height of the hull sides,
2 - increasing the thickness of the front hull in front of the driver
3 - reshaping the hull front between the tracks
4 - increasing the depth of the hull
5 - redesigning the exhaust.

I like the larger drive and idler wheels in TigerAce1944's TKS track from his Polskie Armor Pack so I took it and modified it in a similar way to how the Polish modified the TKS undercarriage by enlarging the rear idler wheel and lowering it so it touches the ground.
