the settings for printing wouild really depend upon what scale you print at.
I will be printing with my anycubic photon and as such the settings differ
greatly from FDM printers.
for FDM it will need supports for sure
procees i used
i made a basic dummy shape with truespace5 (i would suggest similar workflow using
fusion360 or tinkercad for the free (cheap) folks like me
then i import into meshmiker, do a make solid to get a obj that i can import into
sculptris.
using sculptris i make the detalis.
