This is only a body, not a whole truck! No tires, no chassis.

When I had printed Mr. Crankyface´s fantastic V4 truck, I was looking for a suitable body. I hit upon BAE´s mine resistant and ambush protected vehicle (MRAP), which is used by US armed forces in places like Afghanistan, mostly. I am not a big fan of war equipment, but NASA has adopted some of those vehicles to their purposes. The truck is used by NASA as a quick evacuation vehicle in case of emergency at the launching facility.

The model body has got a removable box, you can use the common clips to fix it to the chassis. All the roof plates are designed to be put on top so you can take them off anytime, unless you prefer to glue them in.

Since this is scale model build, several details like mirrors, lights, ladders etc. can be found. Anyway, the model is not fully finished and might be continued anytime. Please do not expect this to be perfect - You will have to put some work into this project. I recommend this build for experienced users.

The front doors can be opened but the rear doors are fake.

A beautiful winch and some seats can be found here on thingiverse, you have to adjust them to your needs, however.

Post-Printing

Needed for assembly

Screws:
I used a whole bunch of stainless steel screws m3, cylinder head. You need 10mm screws, mostly, but sometimes I had to use 16mm and 6mm screws. Some countersunk screws in 16mm are needed, too.
4x m2 screws are needed for the door hinges to be functional.

Tools:
LONG allen keys, one of them with a ball head, are really helpful, so you can reach all the places during assembly.

Glue:

I had best results using UHU hart. Cyanoacrylate works well, too, but is a lot messier and dangerous in the needed amounts.
