First upload, finally!

The Medal of Bravery, awarded to Luke Skywalker and Han Solo by the Galactic Republic for their efforts in the Battle of Yavin and assisting in the destruction of the first Death Star. It first appeared in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope and would later go on to appear in the animated series, Clone Wars and across the Star Wars extended universe.

I needed one of these for a customer earlier and after failing to find a decent model anywhere, I decided to quickly knock this one up. There have been a few medals put out by Disney and Master Replicas over the years and they all vary a little bit (the original
prop they're based on was hastily put together and by all accounts, a bit of a mess) so this is designed to replicate the general appearance of the medal rather than one specific example. Far from perfect, but closer than any 3D model I could find for free.

I'm still a bit of a novice when it comes to 3D modelling so apologies for any errors, consider this revision number one as I already know I want to change some of the finer details when I have time to come back to it.

For now, the only attachment point is three small pilot holes on the top of the medal to attach a ribbon with screws (the same as on the original) though I may add something a little more practical soon.

I'd love to see your prints if anybody decides to give it a try, thanks for looking and enjoy!
