I have mostly rounded out the blaster grip and some of the body. I also removed some parts of the trigger which I didn't need and some duplicate parts. I created a stand for the model and lastly, the model size was increased slightly to match up with the actual movie prop dimensions.
I wired up a trigger to a 9 volt battery and UV LED for illumination effects as well. Here are the parts I used:

Notes:
To get the barrel parts as translucent as possible I used a single shell with no infill.
The base curve part should be the only part that needs supports as it should be printed sideways for optimal strength.
