After seeing some amazing work done by others here on flexible animals, I decided to try my hand at an Alligator as the school where I work has a gator for a mascot. After many trials and involving my students in some brainstorming we came to an idea of how we best wanted to create our links so that they were strong and able to withstand middle school students attempts to break them. While not 100% indestructible they do hold up very well.
Though I have posted that you can print this without supports, if you want to put them on I suggest you only have the setting for touching buildplate, as anywhere else it will make it harder to remove so that it will flex.
This is still a work in progress but I am super happy with where it is right now that I feel ready to share.
