Based off of the Activation index from the game Halo. The design was modelled off of screenshots taken from the original Halo 2 game. There is also a display base with the option to include an LED.

Notes:
The Light and Button files were printed in clear PLA with 100% infill
The model uses a 10mm clear acrylic rod to diffuse the light up the centre of the key so that only 1 LED (mounted in the base) is needed. The acrylic rod needs to be cut down to size with 4mm protruding from the bottom of the key to connect with the base.
The lid of the base is removable to replace the 2032 battery. I cut a hole in the side of the base to mount the switch, but is not needed.
The detail pieces should be glued on after the two main pieces have been glued and ready for paint. I’ve included a model with the two pieces already together.
The ‘light’ pieces were printed with clear PLA with 100% infill to diffuse the light. These pieces are pressed in after painting
The key’s support on the lid of the base has been left a little wide, so that the paint doesn’t wear off when used. I added some thin pieces of cardboard to give a softer surface for the key to sit in.
