This is a collaborative design and 3D printing project between the Maker Station makerspace in Marietta, GA and CAD startup 3Dorchard.com
We are designing a large scale Falcon Heavy model that is 700 mm tall (scaled 10mm = 1m) to print out a on a large scale hang printer 3D printer being built at the Maker Station.
Our goal is to be able to print this model at 2 meter height as we calibrate the printer and then shoot for 3+ meters and beyond.
The print shown in the pic was scaled down to 170 mm and printed in vase mode for initial testing of printability
