This is a recreation of the Odder Otter minion from Final Fantasy XIV. As a model, I felt that it looked better if it sat on its very sturdy hat. However, I have included a hat model that should fit comfortably on its head for a closer representation of the original.
The curved base / hat will require a lot of support to be removed, as the curve is not shallow enough to print without it.
Wet-sanding this model works well to remove any rough spots, but if you want to remove the striations, you will need to coat it - I have intentionally added a hair-like texture to the model, and this does not make it easy to sand to a completely flat finish.
This was my first project in ZBrushCore. It was created using reference images from the game as a guide.
